
Last week was a total media blitz.
It was the kind of exposure I’ve never personally experienced, even after two decades in the business. It was a masterclass in what I call “PR Power.” Within just days, I went from CBC and CTV interviews to live spots on CP24, along with deep dives with TSN, ESPN, and The Globe and Mail.
The biggest takeaway? Scale.
Seeing the sheer PR machinery FIFA wields is one thing, but navigating it is another. They’ve assigned me a dedicated PR team to help manage this momentum through to the games, and the level of coordination is unparalleled.
It’s a reminder that for an event this size, the “infrastructure” isn’t just concrete and stadiums, it’s the global narrative being built right now.
