Yesterday marked International Women’s Day. While it is celebrated once a year, the women making an impact in our lives deserve recognition every day. As a father to an 11-year-old daughter, a husband, and a son, I have immense respect for the women who lead, create, and inspire.
I want to take a moment to highlight three incredible women I am fortunate to work with closely.
Annika McFarlane is an illustrator and designer extraordinaire. We first worked together years ago when she was my practicum student, and she excelled at every challenge I threw her way. After she spent time traveling the globe, I was quick to bring her back onto the team late last year. Her talent is world-class.

Holly Hofmann is one of the best producers I have worked with in this business. Having been in the industry long enough to “roam with the dinosaurs,” I don’t say that lightly. When I was overwhelmed with work last year, my friend Alex Beim suggested I reach out to her. Now I know why he speaks so highly of her. Thank you, Holly, for your incredible support.

Denise Cheung Finally, my life partner in crime. Denise is the unsung hero who keeps everything running in the background. None of this would be possible without her.
To all the women kicking ass in whatever they do: thank you.
