LDS Charity Golf Tournament at the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at the LDS Charity Golf Tournament at Furry Creek Golf and Country Club near Squamish, B.C. I’m definitely not a golfer, as the last time I played was over 20 years ago back in Ontario. I really never saw the appeal, maybe because I’m not old enough but I honestly had a blast playing through the entire course. I was told that this course was very technical and requires great skill but as a sponsor I had no choice but to play along. Thankfully, the organizers paired me and my guest, Chris Moore with 3 other highly experienced golfers.

The course was truly magical. It took us over 5 hours to finish and every par had unreal views and it also didn’t hurt to have had gorgeous weather as well.

Here are a few photos I took throughout the day and if you scroll further, you’ll see my short speech I did during dinner.

As I mentioned, I’m still no golfer and I don’t see myself playing any time in the near future. I’m looking forward to a higher-adrenaline sport, street basketball tomorrow morning. ;)

I was invited to do a short talk after our dinner at the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club.
The mobile learning EV bus we designed and created was parked in front of the country club.
The scenery on my drive back down the sea-to-sky highway was unbelievably beautiful.
Couldn’t get enough of this view.
