3 awards for us for the 2026 Applied Arts illustration competition.

I’m thrilled to share that my studio Chairman Ting Industries Inc. picked up 3 wins at this year’s Applied Arts Media illustration awards. From local community storytelling to bigger brand collaborations, these projects represent the range of work we love to do:

Wilderness Within (District of North Vancouver): A 5’x10′ tactile mural of the Lynn Creek Neighbourhood. We translated intricate hand-drawn illustrations into eight laser-engraved panels—a 48-hour precision machining process that celebrates diversity and inclusion through a playful cast of local wildlife.
Production Artist: Bram Sawatzky Design Studio: Chairman Ting Industries Inc. Production Studio: Willow & Stump Design Client: District of North Vancouver, Civic Public Art Program Art Officer: Lori Phillips

Mad Scramble (Nike x RunAsYouAre): The unofficial 2025 BMO Marathon tee. This project was all about the “scramble”, the grit and chaos of getting to the start line. Designed and produced in Vancouver, the three-way colorway drop sold out instantly with lineups out the door.

“Toronto, With Love” (Cadillac Fairview): My largest mural project to date. Spanning 27,000 square feet at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre, this “love letter to the 6ix” weaves the Billion Buns universe into the city’s iconic landmarks, celebrating the multicultural spirit of the city that raised me.

A massive thank you to our incredible partners at the District of North Vancouver, Nike, RunAsYouAre, and Cadillac Fairview for trusting us with your vision. And of course, a huge shoutout to the Applied Arts jury for the recognition.

Three wins, three very different stories, one proud studio.
