As the year comes to an end, we always take the time to reflect on all the projects that we’ve worked on. Sending gratitude to the universe in appreciation for all the opportunities and recognition we received throughout the year.
2024 probably has been our best year yet!
In the recognition front, we picked up awards at the Advertising and Design Club of Canada, Applied Arts Illustration Awards and Communication Arts! We got featured on the Georgia Straight, Vancouver Magazine, Exclaim! Magazine, Vancouver is Awesome, Daily Hive, Vita Magazine, a public speaking event for Creative Pulse, and an interview on Omni TV.
In the work front, we had a stellar year for murals! Kicked off the year with a mural for BCAA’s newly renovated boardroom, UBC’s 70’ x 20’ condo mural, a mural for 2 Michelin star chef Masaki Saito’s omakase sushi restaurant chain called MSSM in both Toronto and Edmonton, Kabam’s latest HQ art installation (our biggest project to date!), Allseating’s trade show in Chicago, DTVAN’s mural ‘People of Downtown’, BC Children’s Artist Series collaboration, Artigiano Cafe, Dialog’s Design Week, Grouse Mountain’s gondola art wrap, Skip’s merchandise, BDO’s office mural, Billion Bun’s animated TV show and we finally finished our art sculptures for the District of North Vancouver’s latest recreation centre by Mountain Highway (4 years in the making!).
In the inspiration front, we kicked off the year in LA to soak up all the art galleries and in the summer we went to Paris, Rome and the Amalfi coast (Sorrento, Positano, Capri) for more inspiration hunting. Earlier this month we headed off to Tokyo for over a week and now we’re typing up this post in Hong Kong as we continue strengthening our relationships with suppliers, clients and networks in Asia.
