We just got back from our holiday. A super chill holiday on a cruise, the Norwegian Bliss (The biggest ship to dock in Vancouver to date) where we completely unwinded for 5 days cruising down the pacific coast, visiting Victoria, San Francisco and finally LA where we spent 3 days exploring the city. There we visited The Broad, a fairly new contemporary art museum in downtown Los Angeles.
The collection that was on exhibit was insanely good. Under one roof, they had Koons, Gursky, Kelly (one of our favs! Second time seeing Kelly’s work in person), Basquiat, Baldessari, Warhol, Haring, Kusama (finally we got to see her installation ‘Longing For Eternity’!), Lichtenstein, Murakami, Therrien and much more. It was a real treat and definitely one of the biggest highlights of our trip. If you ever get the chance, it’s a must visit destination!
