Meet you by the mural: Vancouver campus’ Harbour Centre building gets a makeover

The entire panoramic mural

We’re so excited to finally share our latest mural design for SFU’s Vancouver campus at the Harbour Centre. This mural has been months in the making as it was carefully and meticulously planned while working closely with SFU’s marketing and communications team. We are immensely grateful for the guidance and leadership from everyone at SFU and especially to Ailsa Brown, the Communications and Marketing project director at SFU.

Laurie Anderson, executive director of the Vancouver campus, believes that “meet you by the mural” may become a common phrase once campus life resumes.

Here are a few photos from the installation process

“The mural also represents the convergence of creativity, consultation and collaboration—made possible by the imagination and expertise of our Communications & Marketing project director, Ailsa Brown, and local design studio, Chairman Ting, alongside feedback from the students, faculty and staff who work and learn at the Vancouver campus.”

“This colorful mural captures the essence of the university, and of the downtown campus in particular,” says Anderson.
