Game 3 tonight! Go Jays Go! ⚾️💙
As someone born and raised in Toronto, the Blue Jays have always been part of my story. My brother (Hi Pak!) and I used to get free nosebleed seats from my mom’s clients back when it was still called the Skydome (and I’ll always call it that).
I’m not ashamed to say I’m a proud bandwagon jumper, and for good reason. I got a great refresher watching Game 1 with Hubert Kang at the studio last Friday during game 1.
I’ll be cheering on the Jays from the west coast tonight. This artwork was part of a 70-foot hand-painted mural I created MSSM Yorkville a few summers ago with help from my friend and collaborator Chad Kabigting. I remixed it as a little good luck charm for tonight’s game.
Here’s to the Jays, to Toronto pride, and to keeping that energy alive no matter where we are.
