Paris, Rome and the Amalfi Coast, here we come!Â
A fun series I created using my Apple iPad Pro in anticipation for our annual creative inspiration trip.
I put together his quick and fun video to show my creative process. I usually start with an idea in my head and will go straight into production if I have a strong visual in my head which I did for this series. I’ll begin by looking at references blended with my own mental vision. I go even faster without having looking at references. I usually have a rough idea of composition and when I do, I build all the elements in layers. Once I’ve done all the drawings, I get them vectorized, coloured and assembled in Illustrator for maximum flexibility. Big thanks to my studio and production assistant, Lynol Lui who helped me do the mockups into the art frames.
During our travels we will be meeting agencies, art buyers and more. Instead of lugging around my beloved by heavy Nikon DSLR, I’ll be packing light and just taking my Sony ZV-1 this time.
