We’re honoured to be hosting another Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication practicum program. By being a practicum host, we are helping to support a career focused curriculum that the IDEA School is known for at the Capilano University.

Today we welcome Alison Johnstone, a 4th year IDEA program student. In our collective studio where we all run our own distinct creative businesses, Alison will have a chance to flex her creative muscles on a wide range of disciplines.

Here’s a fun Google Hangout we had this morning welcoming her to the studio where she will be working on everything we have going on from packaging design, animation bumpers, CBC title sequences for an upcoming show, a children’s storybook, a bus wrap, and much more.

Check out Alison Johnstone’s work here on Behance.

Two years ago, we hosted the talented Emily Rose. You can read all about her experience here on IDEA’s blog.
