Happy holidays everyone! Snapped this photo with my new-wish Google Pixel 2 XL by Lost Lagoon this afternoon and then did this quick doodle on my iPad. Although I love my Google Pixel 2 XL, I think the display on the Apple iPhone still reigns supreme. Anyway, wishing all of you a safe and fun holiday from Vancouver! The best coast! ;)

More illustrations created for Toronto’s latest fun and innovative public space that runs along the Gardiner Expressway connecting all 7 neighbourhoods called The Bentway – It was super fun working on this project with the good people at Good Digital Culture in Toronto.
I created more than a dozen illustrations for this project which I’m eager to share with all of you and like I said before, I really do get extra giddy when I get to work on projects for my hometown Toronto.

Whenever I get to work on projects for my hometown, I get extra giddy. This winter I got the chance to work on the illustration campaign work for Toronto’s new and innovative public space called The Bentway that goes under the Gardiner Expressway joining all 7 neighbourhoods. More illustrations to come as the advertising campaign will hit the streets for the week of Dec. 25th in Toronto. Design and branding by the good people at Good Digital Culture.

It’s been a very rewarding year especially with our very first win at the Advertising and Design Club of Canada for our studio. Again, big thanks to our friends at Tool of North America, we couldn’t have picked up so much hardware for our Webby’s 20th annual video animation. And in keeping with our tradition for the past couple of years, we’re working on our year-end video to summarize all the work we’ve done in 2017. With bigger plans in the new year, we hope 2018 will be even better.

Doodles of characters from Osaka Japan.

Was going through my digital sketches on my iPad Pro and found this little fun doodle that I almost forgot about. Drew up this little sketch while we were in Osaka last month. It was an amazing trip, to say the least. I was so inspired by everything we saw, heard and tasted. I’m making a mental note here to continue drawing in this style for a mini-series. Stay tuned for more! We’re also getting a new studio space which we’ll announce once we move in next month! Exciting times ahead.

Toronto, you’ve grown so much since I last saw you in June.

I was in Toronto last week for a short business trip and I was just blown away by how much the city has changed the last time I visited in June. I was back in my hometown for a few meetings including Deloitte Canada at their beautiful new HQ on Yonge and Adelaide, the good folks at Good Digital Culture in Liberty Village and a quick visit to Red Bull Canada for an art project that I’ve been working on since fall. Here are a bunch of photos I took with my Nikon and iPhone. Read More »
